Abstract :
The school bus seat dynamic test has been carried into execution in May 2012. The study provided insight into the occupant injury based on the statistics of test data. Two hypothesis of the injury causes were proposed by the analyses of test curves and videos. Some simulation works were carried out to study the effect of key design factors.
