Abstract :
A new construction of DC-free codes based on turbo codes, which can simultaneously meet the dc constraint, and error-correcting requirement is proposed. The presented scheme divided into two parts: the RDS control encoder/decoder and turbo encoder/decoder. The RDS control encoder generates several codewords of a window code for selecting a control vector. Also, BER performance for DC-free turbo code is investigated for many cases and the performance improvement between 1 decoding iteration and 10 decoding iterations for fixed code rates and constraint lengths for different frame sizes are practiced
