Abstract :
Summary form only given. The importance of substituent´s existance of in the process of polymer´s self-doping conduction is considered. The structures of polypyrrole and polythiophene substituted by methyl, methyl carboxy group and methyl sulfonic group have been optimized by using the quantum chemistry MNDO method. By means of EHMACC-CO program, the conductivity and the charge distribution of these polymers causing by different substituent is discussed.
