Abstract :
Cloud is considered as a pool of resources and it delivers resources on demand. With the large number of available cloud providers, finding the right service is not an easy task. Cloud service discovery mechanisms are helpful to find the appropriate services. But the exponential growth in number of cloud services may lead to several functionally equivalent services to be discovered. The best service can be selected by ranking all the discovered services using their nonfunctional properties. Since this decision making involves comparison of each cloud service using several properties, selection problem is assumed as multi criteria decision making problem. In this paper we present a mechanism to rank and select the cloud services using REMBRANDT approach.
