Abstract :
Flow regime recognition of two-phase flow is of great importance in industrial process. In this paper, a new method of flow regime recognition with the positional information that provided by electrical resistance tomography (ERT) system is brought forward. By analyzing the three dimensional information of the measured data, the maximum time of air phase passing the cross section is adopted to identify the flow regime and to reduce the error of identifying the long plug flow from short plug flow when using conventional methods
