Abstract :
Summary form only given. Kinetic decay of pulse photoconductivity in polyaniline (polyemeraldine base) films was investigated in the temperature range 120 - 300 K as the function of laser pulse power and electric field. The second harmonic of a YAG:Nd/sup 3+/ laser with 20 ns pulse duration was used for excitation. The kinetic curves are fairly well approximated by stretched exponential law with the stretching parameter b and the relaxation time constant t, both dependent on the sample temperature. As the sample is cooled, b increases and approaches 1. The dependence t(T) is more complex. A comparison with the simple model of the stretched decay suggesis that temperature dependent structural changes of the films influence the carrier
