Abstract :
Synchrotron magnet strings can be regarded as a 6 terminal ladder circuit. It can be shown that the voltage and current has two different resonant modes. They can be decoupled by a transformation. In the presence of a symmetric configuration, it is further shown that the modes are reduced to two orthogonal mode, normal and common modes which enables us to find the analytical solution
