The Feature-Based Spatio-temporal Data Model (FBSTDM) have been proposed for years, but because its data structure was complex, nearly was the semi-structured, only could use the special-purpose data format to carry on the data storage. Conventional relational or object- relational data model cannot be directly applied to FBSTDM, leading to the development and implement of FBSTDM is very fewer. XML data model is used to express, exchange, store the semi-structured or unstructured data, and is compatible with the conventional relational or object-oriented structural data model. Therefore, this article comes through the extension the core schema of GML/XML (Geography Markup Language) to express the space and time semantics of FBSTDM completely, simultaneously, gives the more complete space and time data type system. Meanwhile, in order to store the semi-structured spatio-temporal data into the linear physical storage space, this article proposed one kind of four-tuple model.
