Abstract :
Summary form only given. The galvanostatic electrochemical oxidation of BEDO-TTF has been carried out in the presence of Nbu/sub 4/HgX/sub 3//HgX/sub 2/Nbu/sub 4/X (X=Br, I) system as a supporting electrolyte. Varying the relation of the components, we have isolated at least two phases of BEDO-TTF mercury bromides and two phases of BEDO-TTF mercury iodides. X-Ray analysis of the crystal structure is now being carried out. The compounds exhibit metallic conductivities down to helium temperatures, like those described in [1]. Phase transition in the range of about 70 K has been - shown for BEDO-TTF mercury iodides. Pressure dependences of resistivity have been investigated. 1. H.
