Abstract
This paper describes on-going research work addressing usability issues in the design and evaluation of user interfaces for “home” banking systems of the future. Initial work has sought to identify key issues in the use of interactive television, via games consoles, centred upon the evaluation of fully-functioning prototypes for online banking. Examples are provided of usability issues encountered in the design and evaluation of such potential banking services and their possible interfaces
