Abstract :
In this paper, the stability problem of neutral system with interval time-varying delays is investigated. The time-varying delays are assumed to belong to different intervals. Based on the Lyapunov method, by using a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional which includes the information of both the lower and upper bounds of the interval time-varying delays, a new stability criterion is derived in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). This criterion is much less conservative than existing ones in that it contains fewer matrix variables.
