Abstract :
This paper addresses the key issues of energy efficiency in small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, such as Nano Aerial Vehicles (NAVs). The power requirement of these flapping-wing NAVs can be model as a unitary system with the all-possible affected subsystems. In this conceptually developed NAV, system can be ensemble by the power-consumptions of critical sub-systems. Overall NAV system than can be analyzed further under the three main branches. These "three-part" energy related blocks are; (1) Cutting-edge research topics what needs to be explored in relevant details, (2) Environmental Constraints why affecting the power consumptions of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and (3) Emerging technologies, whose help to reduce the power requirements of the NAVs. The total power consumption of a single NAV is deduced from an overall system analysis in the Emerging technologies. Followed by a few good words take place on the energy efficiency of each sub-systems Overall system\´s energy efficiency is also compared to their natural counterparts, like matching up to the winged insects. Some biomimicry types of remarks are added for further studies.
