Abstract
Summary form only given. The BEDT-TTF salts typically show transport to cyclotron mass enhancements of order 2 /spl tilde/ 3, considerably larger than what is expected from simple metals and suggesting strong electron electron interactions. However, much of their properties can be fitted into a non-interacting particle picture with, in particular, the estimates of the BCS Coulomb pseudopotential /spl mu/* /spl tilde/0. While a microscopic understanding of the electronic properties of these materials is lacking, it is possible to develope a Fermiology based on Landau Fermi liquid theory so as to gain some intuition as to the possible microscopic interactions. We present the results of such a phenomenology, and use experimental data to obtain estimates of the Fermi liquid parameters. The implications to the microscopic interactions are also discussed.
