Abstract
Summary form only given. We consider the effects of the several conduction bands present at the vicinity of the Fermi level on superconductivity in alkali-doped fullerenes. It is shown that the multi-band superconducting gap reduces to the well known Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer gap because of a cyclic symmetry in crientationally ordered phases. This justifies many previous works that have assumed a single-band s-wave pairing without considering several conduction bands explicitly. We carried this out within the weak coupling scheme on the assumption that the superconductivity in doped fullerene is due to electron-intramolecular-vibration coupling.
