Abstract
Summary form only given. In this paper, we introduce new formulas for the calculation of the output distributional influence function (ODIF) which is a tool designed for analyzing the robustness of finite length filters. From these new formulas, connection between the ODIF for the expectation and the sensitivity curve (SC) can easily be observed. For any given filter, averaging a large amount of SCs defined by replacement of an observation, yields the ODIF for the expectation.
