Abstract
Over an extended period of time, stakeholder theory has been successful in contributing significantly towards management of organizational development but failed to achieve the required theoretical status. The primary purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of governing extended enterprises by taking a systemic approach from the stakeholder´s perspective highlighting stakeholder commitment and interests. Through this paper, we make a conscious effort to bring up the inter-dependencies among several factors that aid governance of extended enterprises thereby accounting for organizational wealth and enhancing value creating capacity for the stakeholders. As a result, it leads to the generation of significant inter-relationships among all possible stakeholders over a broader system of networks.
