Abstract :
This paper presents a method to transform style for line drawings based on their mesh presentation. We first obtain the control points and position-feature points of strokes in a line drawing, then make a mesh for these special points of the strokes, and deform the polygons in mesh using theory of shape evolution. Finally, the arrangement of strokes is changed and the line drawing gets a different style. Compared with previous work, the style of a line drawing is considered strokes´ positions and arrangement more than path and width of each stroke. Hence, we can make a mesh for the strokes and deform it to change the whole style of line drawings. Some examples are illustrated an the end of the paper to demonstrate our method.
