Abstract
Air flow measurements are very important in technological processes. When using well-known air flow measurement methods we face the problems of measuring under big pressures, the high or variable temperature airflow. New airflow measurement method is suggested. The method is based on the flow interaction with the end of a fibrous waveguide located in the flow. The result of this interaction shows the dependence of generated random high frequency vibration on the airflow. In this paper, the investigation of the application possibilities of fibrous waveguide interaction with airflow when measuring dynamic airflows is presented
