Abstract :
Based on image processing technology, this paper constructs a fabric-pilling evaluation system in which the edge flow method is used to implement pilling segmentation of complex fabrics. Then the system extracts three characteristic parameters: the number of pilling, total area of pilling and optical volume of pilling and describes the relationship between grades. Finally, in the three-dimensional space, the grade evaluation of fabric pilling is implemented by use of the least distance method. Experiments on various fabric-pilling images show that the system has extensive applicability and good result.
