Abstract
Summary form only given. Charge transfer between C/sub 60/ and organic compound with nature of electron donor is expected, because of the relatively large electron affinity of C/sub 60/. Mostly charge transfer has not been observed at the ground state, however, the photoinduced charge transfer is predicted. Through the measurement of photoinduced absorption and luminescence of the composite films of C/sub 60/ distributed in organic compound, the mechanism of charge transfer between them are studied. Poly(3-alkylthiopherie), tetrathiaftilvalene and metallocene are used as composite matrix. The photoinduced absorption and photoluminescence of pure C/sub 60/ film are also measured. In composite films, the enhanced photo induced absorption of the poly(3-alkylthiophene) due to the presence of C/sub 60/ has not been observed so far. The results are discussed in terms of composite structure, energy levels of involved molecules.
