Abstract :
Occupant risk evaluation of real vehicle crash testing is an important item of road guardrails safety property evaluation. In China, occupant risk evaluation could be mainly divided into direct evaluation method and indirect evaluation method. USA and EU countries mainly use indirect evaluation method. There some same points and differences for occupant risk evaluation in China, USA and EU. In this article, the writer firstly mentioned the methods and items for occupant risk evaluation in guardrail safety property evaluation standards of China, USA and EU. Then, calculate the four-time real vehicle crash testing data using the different three evaluation standards and found that there might be totally different evaluation results using the same testing data. Furthermore, the writer analyzed the reason that caused the different evaluation result and gave the reasonable comments for occupant risk evaluation system in China.
