Abstract :
The paper features a reduced-order state observer structure for one class of continuous-time nonlinear systems representable by a Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model with bilinear rule consequence. When considering measurable premise variables, the notion of linear state estimation error dynamics is formulated and two forms of sufficient stability conditions are outlined in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The proposed method forms the observer considering each local model, and compiles the local insiders by inference through the membership functions equal those of the bilinear model.
