Abstract :
Nowadays, there is an increasing demand of high-quality communication like broadband, efficient and high data rate. Because of increasing spectrum congestion at lower frequencies, W-band ranging from 75 to 110 GHz is drawing more and more commercial interest. 71 to 76 GHz and 81 to 86 GHz segments are already allocated by the International Telecommunication Union to satellite services. The antenna described by this paper adopts a novel structure for the first time to the best of our knowledge and achieves a superior performance. In Section II, the antenna design is introduced. Simulation results are presented in Section III and Section IV is a conclusion for the whole paper.
