Abstract
The operating principle is full analyzed in a Zero Voltage Transition (ZVT) Boost power factor correction circuit. A double closed-loop circuit simulation model is put up, which is based on the SABER simulation software, and the dual closed-loop includes an inner current loop and an outer voltage loop. The simulation achieves that the waveform of the input voltage is followed with the input current waveform. The ZVT-Boost power factor correction can significantly reduce the power loss of the switch. Finally, according to the data and results of the simulation, an actual circuit is built and an experimental prototype is manufactured. The related experiment waveforms are offered in this paper.
