Abstract :
For the purpose of fast tag identification in passive RFID system, an efficient grouping reservation method is proposed in this paper. A simple technique is proposed to demodulate a tag reply data packet from collision signals when part of the collision data packets information is obtained, which efficiently reduces the time slot consumption. Furthermore, reservation frame with variable length and stable grouping algorithm are introduced to achieve high throughput and low access time delay. Simulation results show the proposed algorithm achieves a higher system throughput and lower access time delay than that of the existing reservation-based algorithms.
