  • Abstract
With the rapid development of modern manufacture and logistics systems, the monitoring, diagnosing, controlling, planning, scheduling and decision-making all are provided with of the increasing complexity and importance, which is also the hotspot and focus of the pertinent study. This paper integrates the ubiquitous computing (UC), information fusion (IF), service oriented computing (SOC) and virtual reality (VR) to model the ambient intelligence (AmI) that makes human beings, information systems, things and surroundings can be integrated into one, which makes people executive the tasks and services more effectively. The whole idea roots in computer integrated manufacturing system (CIMS) and computer supported collaborative work (CSCW) deeply. The holistic thinking is supposed to improve the production throughput and service level of complex systems, and presents a new way to the human-computer interaction and running of the kernel organization.
