Abstract :
This paper puts focus on the experimental study about the FMVSS 201U. Based on the corrected mathematical model of free motion head form (FMH), a research proposal of simulation is made. At last, it comes to the relative curve between HIC(d) value and approach angle. This plays an significant role in FMH test and research. Mathematical model improves the efficiency and can be used by automobile design and improvement on component structure.
