Abstract
In order to develop a new flexible transfer line that links upstream production line and downstream production line, production engineers must decide the buffer size between each machine tools. In this research we will attempt to develop an off-line production simulator that assists the production engineers decisions for the buffer size. The simulator consists GA and a discrete simulator.
