Abstract :
A printed-circuit quadrupole has been designed for low-energy electron beam research in the Institute for Plasma Research at the University of Maryland. Previously, solenoid focusing has been employed. Quadrupoles will allow more realistic beam studies to be performed in straight beams, and are necessary for a ring geometry currently under consideration
