Abstract :
The possibility of output power increase is experimentally demonstrated in 2-mm orotron by means of the focusing mirror of two-focus sphere-cylindrical open resonator to increase an electron flow width up to 4 caustic radii, and from the element of cylinder both transversely and along the flow. The 20...30% tuning frequency range with 5 dB nonuniformity of output power is also shown.
