Abstract :
In this paper, we propose the use of surface integral equation (SIE) formulations derived from Maxwell´s equations to describe and solve problems involving LHM. Since only the surfaces of the objects have to be modeled, this approach bears important advantages for the analysis of electrically large LHM materials. Also, SIE formulations do not have the problem of termination, so they can be applied to arbitrary open radiation problems.
