Abstract
In this paper, a novel and single-layer circular slot antenna with a c-strip loaded has been proposed to obtain circularly polarized radiation. The proposed antenna has a simple circular slot and is fed from the microstrip line coupling to the slotline, as shown in Fig.l. The circular slot antenna has a simple structure loaded of a c-strip metal. Additionally, the antenna operates at its fundamental orthogonal modes for the UHF band, and the two near-degenerated resonant modes for circularly polarization of a circular slot antenna are generated by the cstrip loaded. Details of the antenna design and the obtained experimental results of the antenna performance are presented and discussed.
