Abstract :
A new dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) for ultra wideband applications is presented. This UWB antenna has excellent Omni-directional radiation patterns over the entire band with the low cross-polarization. The antenna is composed of a solid DR inserted in a substrate, which is excited by a coplanar waveguide feed (CPW).
