Abstract
Indoor positioning and localization services became increasingly important in the past years. Their usage is not only on the military but also on the civil side, e. g. Locale Based Services (LBS) in huge buildings like airports or shopping malls. The research project WIPoS (Wireless Indoor Positioning System) is working on a new position detection method based on the analysis of the difference of power amplitudes at the application of leaky feeder cables (LCX). The steps of the appropriate antenna engineering for the leaky feeder development are shown in this paper.
