Abstract :
Using rigid-plastic finite element method, the plastic deformation of the strip was analyzed, flattening between work roll and the strip was calculated in three-dimensional elastic finite element method and the rolls elastic bending deformation was obtained by influence function method, from which a coupled mathematical model was set up. The research work was done to analyze the influence law for outlet thickness, the pressure distribution at the work roll-backup roll interface, roll force at the strip-work roll interface, front tension and the work roll elastic bending deformation. The results show that the axial shift amount of rolls has significant influence on the outlet thickness and the strip shape and the work roll bending force has slight effect on that, which can be as the aided fine adjustment to achieve the presetting shape and crown of strip.
