Abstract
A joint program between Albuquerque Public Schools and Philips Semiconductors has been established which permits gifted high school students to explore career opportunities through mentorships and internships. The author has participated in this program over a period of nine years with five students under his supervision. Experiences with this program and some suggestions on how to establish this type of program are discussed
