Abstract
This paper investigates the effect of a proposed ground structure to a basic conventional PIFA structure. The structure of the ground plane is designed to minimize the bad effect of the interaction between antenna and human body. The inserted metallic layer, connected to the ground plane through shorting posts, and sidewall attachment are performed to achieve the goals.
