  • Abstract
    Damage test of red sandstone is completed by RMT150 rock mechanics test system. The results show that low cycle fatigue test curve of red sandstone is divided into two parts. It is obvious that the development of the whole axial deformation has the following three stage feature: initial stage, constant speed stage and acceleration stage. Low cycle fatigue damage model is improved by introducing explicit hardening parameter, the low cycle fatigue test results of red sandstone are quantitatively analyzed, the obtained damage developing formula reflects the damage development of fatigue failure process. The test results is basically in accordance with the theory analysis results.
