Abstract :
The array of original image is disturbed and the color values of each image point is substituted. At the same time, the initial conditions and iteration time of a chaotic system are obtained from external keys. This method can encrypt image not only based on disordering the positions of image pixels but also based on changing image pixels´ value, there by significantly increasing the resistance to statistical attacks. And at the same time, the key space of the encryption is enlarged and the sensitivity to the key changes is enhanced. The simulation results show that the encryption algorithm is valid.
