Abstract :
This paper reports the fabrication of a novel resistive-type relative humidity sensor based on plasma-functionalized MWCNT/Polyimide composite films. The relative humidity sensors shows a good linearity of 1.10 over a wide humidity range, with the sensitivity of 60Omega/%RH and response time of 10 min. The resistance increase with water adsorption of composite films with high MWCNT concentration is explained on the basis of charge transfer between the adsorbed water molecules and the CNTs.
