Abstract
This work considers the moisture measurement of loose ceramic material on UHF using a long line by applying a method of short circuit, which is created on the end of the measuring sample. Based on the measurement of a real value form, complex dielectric permeability /spl epsi/ is paid, but hereinafter using data of dielectric permeability of water /spl epsi//sub w/ dielectric permeability /spl epsi//sub 0/ dry material and measurement data /spl epsi/ moisture of the investigation sample is inhered. Based on the known theoretical dependencies of moisture and from the dielectric permeability, experimental data calculation of moisture for loose ceramic material is conducted. This can be used for the measurement of moisture of products of feeding, building materials and others.
