Abstract :
In this paper, we take a look at diffusion methods and reassignment techniques to process adaptive time-frequency distributions. We briefly recall both techniques. Next we reinterpret the reallocation of spectrogram in terms of homogeneous diffusion. This allows us the extend the classic reassignment process via adaptive diffusion. Finally, some simulations are proposed to illustrate the efficiency of our approach
