Abstract
Vector sensor structures are efficiently used structures, but using more than two vector sensors increases the cost significantly. In this work, the direction of arrivals (azimuth and elevation) and polarization parameters of more than one sources are estimated by using one real and one virtual electromagnetic vector sensor. To achieve this, fourth and second order statistics of the signal are used, and it is converged to the results by using ESPRIT with two real vector sensors. The proposed method iteratively improves the results obtained initially. This approach has very low computational complexity compared to scan the parameter cluster directly.
