  • Abstract
    Summary form only given. Polythiophene has been electropolymerized on platinum electrode either or not primarily prepared with adsorbed thiol molecules. Besides a structural analyse of the surfaces, this work is an attempt to compare the two preparations from a mechanical point of view. Preliminary results obtained on the force curves indicate a more rigid structure for the polymer growing from the thiol layer.
