Abstract :
With the development of all kinds of devices that will be used or are being used in NGN, test automation,which can do much heavy work instead of human,is more and more popular. In this paper,the UML (Unified Modeling Language) released by OMG (Object Management Group) as the model description language,the design of a test automation framework-BTAF (Broadband access Test Automation Framework)-for Access Gateway is introduced. Then the advantages of BTAF are emphasized. Through comparison with manual test, the benefit of automation test is digitalized.
