  • Abstract
    The possibility of application of cylindrical dielectric resonator with "whispering gallery" modes as a sensor for determination of air permittivity is studied. In a millimeter-wave band the numerical investigation of Teflon resonator eigen parameters were carried out at change of air permittivity within (1...1.1). It is shown that frequency sensitivity of a resonator with TM3610 and TM3620 modes is respectively 90 Hz and 150 Hz at changeless values of Q-factors 4870 and 457, when air permittivity is increased by 10-7.
