Abstract
Bistatic Forward Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (BFISAR) concept is considered. BFISAR topology with stationary transmitter and receiver with moving target is described. Kinematic vector equations are derived. Theoretical constraints in radar bistatic forward scattering are defined. Mathematical model of linear frequency modulated (LFM) BFISAR signal is created. BFISAR signal formation and image reconstruction are interpreted as direct and inverse space projection respectively. Image reconstruction procedure is defined that includes phase correction (motion compensation of higher order), range compression by first inverse Fourier transform and azimuth compression by second inverse Fourier transform. Numerical experiment to verify mathematical models derived is carried out.
