Abstract :
This paper presents a new method to improve network reliability and reduce energy losses by network reconfiguration. An implicitly parallel algorithm is implemented to solve the reliability-oriented reconfiguration problem. The proposed reconfiguration method is able to deal with uncertainties of input data and to maximize the possibility of performance enhancement, especially when statistical information or measured data is unavailable or insufficient. Case studies are used to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed reconfiguration method.
