Abstract :
The principles of building the power supply system for the ultra wide band (UWB) mobile radars elaborated. They are based upon the utilization of the electrochemical capacitors (EC). The block diagram (function circuit) of these radars was refined through the use of a new assembly unit that comprises ECs and a voltage converter. This arrangement made it possible to increase the output power, diminish the pulse duration and raise an efficiency of sounding pulse oscillators in UWB pulsed radars.
