Abstract :
The performance of the track-before-detect based on particle filter (PFTBD) would be deteriorated caused by the inaccuracy of particle initialization with a large velocity and position initialization range. A novel strategy of particle initialization is proposed via competitive mechanism. The simulation results show the proposed strategy can promise a much better performance for tracking and detecting a maneuvering point target.
